I generally won't turn the A/C on till Memorial Day and like to have it off for the season by Labor Day. Its so nice to not have a few months of no heat and no A/C. I do agree with about having the heat on 2 weeks ago and today my area is looking at a heat wave. Ugh! When he got home from work he never wanted the A/C on b/c he felt his body would get to used to the coolness of it. He doesn't even use the A/C when he drives for that reason. lol My hubby on the other hand has no A/C at work and when its hot out he wants a nice cool home. ;o) Okay that was probably to much information. When we wanted to fly the flag, he made sure we knew it had to be taken down in the evening, and we weren't allowed to put the flag out in the rain. Also, if we wanted to leave it out at night you needed a spotlight on it. When flags got old dad burned them, even to this day. Stir fries are a nice idea when you get tired of stews, etc. I always throw a chicken in the crock pot and make stock the next day for chicken noodle soup.
