Bedtime during summer holidays?

My son from a previous marriage is 16. He is now staying with us full time. What we did is write down all the rules of the house, including what happens after we go to bed and everyone signed it.

Who's the boss?

Sounds like she has the run of the house. I have a 16 yr old son from a previous marriage and a 4 year old daughter with my present wife. The decisions made in the house are made by my wife and I.

Get kids involved in Going Green

Great post. You can never get your kids involved to early in going green. It is a learned behavior!

Parent rights that we seem to forget

Amen! I see it all the time. No parental supervision. Kids out on the street, at all hours, alone at very young ages. My oldest son (16) has a few friends that have no curfew. It blows my mind.

Can I use a sling for a 9 month old, 25 lbs?

Co-Sleeping thoughts

We coslept with our son, our first, and do not with our daughter. I think is depends on parents and child. Our son has always been clingy and had a hard time sleeping with out us.
