I didn't think it was too scary, but when anyone asks my almost 4 year old what the movie was about, she only says, "The rat fell down the waterfall." So obviously that sewer scene had more impact on her than I thought. But at the same time she says she loved it and would go again. I liked the message about honesty too. Do You Really Think You're a Better Teacher? - Blog Entry01 Jul 2007 10:24 PM I think there is also a completely different set of skills needed to teach one or a few children than to controll and teach a classroom full of 30+ kids. I'd never want to try the later, but teaching my one little girl - I bet I can do a decent job. Ask a Baby Blogger: Extra Water for Breastfed Babies? - Blog Entry01 Jul 2007 10:19 PM I wondered about this too. Good info. Seems like such a minor thing compared to this. Thanks for the warning. Mushy Food Makes Picky Eaters - Blog Entry20 Jun 2007 04:22 PM Where was this article when my fist was weening! I'm sure you are right, and I'm now stuck trying to undo the habits of a super-finiky three year old. Is Accreditation Necessary? - Blog Entry20 Jun 2007 03:35 PM I look forward to more info. I heard about someone who wanted to enter high school as a soophmore, but the school wouldn't let them because they were homeschooled by a non-accredited teacher (mom). So they were told they'd have to be a freshman. Could You Check Your E-mail Once a Day? - Blog Entry29 May 2007 03:30 PM Never only once a day - that would drive me crazy! If I tried super hard, maybe twice a day, but I get the fidgitis just thinking about it! Bedtimes That Make Sense - Blog Entry29 May 2007 03:18 PM We started a routine with our first child and didn't have nearly the amount of sleep problems that friends did. Now with the new baby, I'm afraid we're a bit lax. We eep the toddlers routine, but haven't worked the baby into it yet. I guess we'd best get started! Thanks for the reminder. |
