Hospital Staff Bullies vs. Parental Rights Part 3 - Blog Entry23 Apr 2007 09:57 PM This is important information. When I was a first time mommy in the hospital I believed the staff would be supportive of breastfeeding because during my pregnancy they stressed how important it was. But with my daughter in the nursery I was only called every 4 hours to feed her. Unfortunately as a new mom I didn't know any better than to go along with them. What they say and what they do don't always match up and can be confusing. like when they wake you ever 20 min to take your tempature, then say "Make sure to get your rest". Made great contacts and actually had a little fun. Ya don't know if you don;t try. Now if only I can do it too - I'm such a wimp. |
