So when poor weight gain (or weight loss- in my case) is happening - then does pumping help? Both lactation consultants I've seen recommended pumping right after feedings to boost production. Is this a waste of time?

Looking forward to further info. Just home withour new baby - she is jaundice. Doesn't need hospitilzation yet, but we're supplementing her feedings. She gets so excited when she gets the bottle, I'm afraid of her eventually rejecting the breast. Although, I think it's the fast flow, and not the nipple that she likes.

Focus for me also feels like some elusive thing I can only read about. My three year old has just decided to stop napping - which makes doing anything too productive during the day difficult. Now the trick seems to be staying awake long enough to get things done at night! I look forward to hearing any further tips you can offer.

This is extremly helpful. And comforting. I want to homeschool, but was intimadated by the feeling that I'd need to "do it all". For someone from a public school upbringing, who doesn't know anyone else who homeschools, your advice has been so reassuring, and empowering. Thanks so much.
