It involves infected lymph nodes, and can be very painful. So even if a scratch doesn't result in an infection right away - always be on the look out for anything brewing later on too. I didn't find out untill late in my pregnancy that I was labeled 'high risk', and was a little shocked becuse I felt great, and really didn't have any complications. This was my problem with my first baby, but most doctors kept telling me that not enogh was never a problem - it must be something else. Until my baby started loosing weight.
