Tough Month so Far

I though that Jan was rough, and Feb started out so promising. . .
Now it's all turned to hell.  Let's see, first there was the broken water pipe.  Then the fence needed to be replaced.  Next we just got home from what was supposed to be a fun weekend - but the altitude made going up a flight of steps strenuous for me.  Now the transmission is shot in my car - so I'm without transportation this week - and I have extra shifts at work to get to somehow.

Is it insane of me to still be optimistic?
I'm still kinda proud of my publication in "The Drabbler #8".  I know it's a small publication - but it paid, and it's fiction - and it's Sci-Fi.  Everything I want to do.  Gives me hope.

And I just finished another set of my I Spy Soft Jingle Blocks, and listed them for sale on Etsy.

I'm really enjoying getting back into sewing.  And I feel like it isn't wasting time since I'm making at least a little money from it.  The question is - will I be able to make enough to pay for a new transmission. . . ?
