But that was before "Cars" was released of course! Still even "Cars" has a long way to go before it out-numbers "Thomas". I'm just thankful that there is no merchandise whatsoever here in Sweden for the Polar Express! Both my boys are train mad ...come to think of it if they ever did a movie called "Trains" about steam engines we'd probably end up bankrupt! LOL How To Tell If A Man Is Father Material - Blog Entry01 Feb 2007 10:34 AM I'm not someone who focuses on looks at all, and certainly wouldn't be looking at jaw line to determine if someone could be a good daddy. I watched my husband interact with kids before we were married and knew he'd be a great daddy because the kids who we came in contact with loved him. Looking for my waist: Are You Losing Weight? - Blog Entry31 Jan 2007 02:01 AM Way to Andrea! Keep it up girl, you're doing great! Katie-Anne New Product : Video Shopping Carts - Blog Entry30 Jan 2007 03:14 AM I was looking for a link for my blog and found this - what a fantastic idea! With two little ones, I can only imagine the luxury of having them both entertained whilst I shop uninterrupted. What a dream of an idea! As my sister-in-law said when I just showed her the picture - a mom MUST have designed that! Katie-Anne A Diet Without Restrictions? - Blog Entry25 Jan 2007 03:13 AM GO LASHELL! Nope, if what you're doing works, don't meddle with it! Keep up the good work. I'm on day 3 of weightwatchers so at the moment I'm more focused on keeping to the program than losing the actual pounds! LOL Katie-Anne Canada---Not Just A Winter Destination - Blog Entry24 Jan 2007 01:34 PM It's a beautiful part of the world - not just with scenary, but with the warm welcome that people get from the locals. If I was given a blank check and told I could go anywhere, I'd immediately head off to the Kootney region of BC, nestled not far from the foothills of the Rockies, and a place my spirit calls home. Five Reasons to Store Food - Blog Entry24 Jan 2007 01:31 PM My husband's like your's Libby, but you know what, he's the first in line to find out what supplies we have put by when we're on a short month financially! We're both freelancers and sometimes there's enough work for us to pay our bills with grocery money without having to think about taking the soda bottles back for the deposit money, and then there's times when that deposit money has actually paid for a package of diapers. Even with a steady income, I don't think that I'd ever just shop what was needed, I actually enjoy looking at my kitchen cupboards and freezer and seeing them full! For some reason it makes me feel safe! Katie-Anne Preparedness: When Mom Is Sick - Blog Entry24 Jan 2007 01:27 PM Lists are another thing that make life easier all round. The morning routine list, the after school list, the evening list, etc. So that anyone taking over (including hubby who has done it all before and has no idea what to do when it comes to him having to fly solo) just has to read down the checklist and make sure everything is done before everyone leaves the house, goes to bed, or whatever. Katie-Anne Tip of the Day- Drink an Extra Glass of Water - Blog Entry24 Jan 2007 01:24 PM I'm a water drinker and even I can't drink the water in the US - I couldn't even use it to brush my teeth and had to use bottled water instead! LOL The processing stuff that gets put in the water there is so strong that I can't get past the smell to even taste. Most of our water here in Sweden comes through springs and wells, we are a country of lakes, and so even though it does get some processing when it's through the city system, it still maintains it's clear, clean taste. One thing I don't get though, if water's so good for you, and I drink so much of it - why have I so many health issues? Sigh! A Diet Without Restrictions? - Blog Entry24 Jan 2007 01:18 PM It's an interesting theory from an interesting man. I don't know if it would work for me, but I do know one thing for sure. When it comes to losing weight, the last thing I should do is cut out all the things I love from my diet because doing so is a recipe for disaster. Even if I only eat them once every two months in normal circumstances, if I'm on a diet and know I can't have them at all, I crave them like crazy and that makes me (and everyone around me) nuts!
