If you are interested in learning more about this view, there is an excellent book by the name "The Pre-Wrath Rapture of the Church." It was written by Marvin Rosenthal. It is a great book that uses tons of scripture. What do you think? 5 Advantages to a Christian School - Blog Entry28 Feb 2007 11:41 AM One thing that sealed my decision to take myself out of the public school and attend a Christian school was Proverbs 19:27 which says, "Cease, my son to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge." That verse pretty much encapsulated the sex ed., evolution and humanistic philosophy which I was being taught. I'm so glad all of the answers are in God's word. Hattiesburg-I checked out your sight. I too work in a Christian school and know from first-hand experience that many students who come to us have either been rejected from the public school or are failing the classes there. This presents a dilemma for the Christian school. Do they accept the child with hopes of reaching them for Christ or do they reject them in order to protect the environment of the other students? I think it must be approached on a case-by-case basis. Each struggling child and parents must be counseled with. Decisions on in enrollment should only be made after careful conversation and prayer. I was struggling with my thought life very much at the time. I wrote it on a notecard and took it to work with me. I memorized it and whenever my thoughts began to stray, I would claim it.
