It's actually kind of amusing for him to call it "Bigotry". I'd say that South Park, tasteless though it may be, isn't bigoted at all. They make fun of everything with equal fervor. Someone who freely insults other people's lifestyle choices, and then gets defensive when their own lifestyle choices come under fire is pretty much a textbook definition of a bigot. The only reason to leave computers on at night is to avoid the annoying, lengthy process of booting up and starting applications. All the articles here on Families.com fall into that category. Just print the page, and you'll get a nice clean version of what you were looking at.
