I never thought of making my own ice packs, but I will remember that for next time! Under Wraps - Blog Entry14 Feb 2010 03:44 PM I'd like to say you're wrong, but you're probably right! Haha! New Pregnancy Test Detects hCG Sooner - Blog Entry30 Jan 2010 08:07 PM ps. Currently this is the only test approved by the FDA to claim that it can detect pregnancy 6 days before. There may be other tests available (though I am not aware of them) but the FDA has only backed this one as of yet. "Princeton, NJ - January 27, 2010 - Church & Dwight Co., Inc. announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared the FIRST RESPONSE® Early Result Pregnancy Test which can determine pregnancy up to six days before the day of a woman's missed period" (Quoted from the official press release.) New Pregnancy Test Detects hCG Sooner - Blog Entry30 Jan 2010 08:05 PM The term false positive is a little misleading. When hCG levels are any higher than 5, it indicates a pregnancy, even if has already been naturally terminated (an early miscarriage or "chemical pregnancy") - this is a downside to all early detection tests, since many miscarriages go undetected and are mistaken for a late period. Increasing Male Fertility - Blog Entry08 Jan 2010 08:20 PM Alcohol is a toxin that can kill the cells that create sperm in the testicles... so yes, it could very possibly be affecting your attempts to get pregnant due to a lower sperm count. A sperm analysis would confirm the problem. It would take a couple months for his count to regenerate if this were the case. Beer or baby? What are his priorities? How Many Ultrasounds Have You Had? - Blog Entry08 Jan 2010 01:37 PM I can't blame you, I asked the ultrasound tech to double check my son's gender at his fetal weight estimate ultrasound, a week before he was born. You can never be too sure! ;) Interview With MTV's Teen Mom - Amber - Blog Entry26 Dec 2009 10:14 PM I think it's important to remember that it is a TV show and the producers are going to cut the film in such a way to make it entertaining, dramatic, etc. There was a stark difference between her account of certain issues and what was shown on the TV show, such as her feelings of isolation (greatly exaggerated on the show). I don't know her and I can't account for her actions depicted on the show, but it's tough to judge and I would never wish upon anyone to have their child taken away, especially based on her treatment of her fiance.
