I'm trying to find a way to
donate to the National Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Why the JDRF? My younger sister was diagnosed with juvenile onset diabetes when she was 4 years old. Her blood sugar was a dangerous level of over 300, which could have caused her to go into a coma. Now, she has been able to control her blood sugar through daily insulin injections.
Diabetes is now becoming more common among the youth in our communities. We can blame a mixture of things on this increase in diagnosis: lack of proper diet and exersice is but one factor, while genetics also plays an important role. It is important that we continue to expand the research so we can overcome this epidemic.
Therefore I've decided to donate a portion of all my sales, both online and offline, during the entire months of MAY and JUNE!!
