Most parents have no idea what is expected of their child in today's kindergarten. While I understand that some parents are anxious for their child to ebgin school, it will not hold a child back. there are so many enrichment activities that you can do at home to keep your child is good academic standing without formal schooling. Madimeg03, I would consider giving my daughter the year off. If she already has two years of schooling, she will be completing 15 years by the time she is 18. She should not have talked that way or even called back- it was a teenager! What did she expect? However I really hate to know that my 911 calls and such can be played back like that. In moments of fright or madness you say things that you likely would not have said otherwise.
