Do You Really Think You're a Better Teacher? - Blog Entry

As a teacher I will admit that I too have felt that homschooling parents feel that they can do their job better than a trained professional. However, being a good teacher is not really something you learn at school or are trained for. I think that good teacher are natural born to teach. I believe that I have more knowledge because of my education. However, I could be a good teacher without my 6 years of teaching education. Much of teaching is learned from experience. I think that anyone who has it in their heart to teach children can be a wonderful teacher regardless of whether it is in a school or in their home.
