Pet Overpopulation Statistics - Blog Entry

We recently had a very pretty long haired dog dropped at our house. It was a few days before she let us get close to her. When we finally got to touch her, I realized that she was expecting. A few days later she had 8 puppies. We plan to keep the mother and have her spayed. I now have to find good homes for the puppies. It makes me so mad that people can just abandom an animal like that! I know that they knew she would soon have puppies. They didn't want the responsibility so they gve it to me! We lost our beloved dog a couple of months ago and maybe this was meant to be!!

How Twins Form Their Own Identity - Blog Entry

My sister has twin girls. When they were small (they are 7 now) we all bought matching clothes. Now they ask for different things and they have different interests. They still play together and are the best of friends. However, I think they created their own identity without any help. I don't see any reason for parents to take over by separarting them in activities. Would you separate brothers and sisters that are not twins?

Great article, Valorie! Directv even has a channel just for babies. The advertisement discusses how educational it is! My 3 year old almost refuses to watch TV (for any amount longer than 10min). Sometimes I wish she would for just a full 30 minutes show, but I guess I'm lucky! She'll have brain power!!!

Wow! What a great idea! Latex balloons are very cheap compared to a lot of other gifts. I never thought of sending a bouquet to the entire class. I think I'll do that when my daughter begins school! Thanks for the idea!!

I agree. I'm surprised at an 8th grade having a prom. That hasn't started here yet. Thanks for the warning. I'm sure it will be here soon! We keep wanting our children to grow up. Let's just let them be kids!

Thanks for your comment! Most ideas, in theory, are great. However by the time that everyone in government has their say, the idea has been corrupted!
