Do Aquarium Pets Beg? - Blog Entry02 Oct 2008 10:21 AM My mom has a small home made pond in her back yard with a waterfall and lilly pads and all...Sometimes she has a toad or a frog too. She has fish in her pond that most definitly beg. When they see you walk out the door and come anywhere near the pond they all come to the top and stick their little mouths out of the water as close to you as they can get. Sometimes they even jump! It's crazy!!! They're the cutest fish. (and I'm not much of a fish person) The frogs and toads beg too when they have been there for awhile. The frogs and toads occasionally disappear (usually due to someone mowing the lawn in a hurry!!) My neice loves to feed the fish and the fish always come up quicker when she is around and they tend to "run" away from my dad cause he's the one who fixes things and sometimes puts a foot or hand in there.
