Should You Worry About Infant Abductions? - Blog Entry07 Sep 2008 08:51 AM I remember being worried about someone coming to take Kate away when she was a baby. I worried way too much. I don't worry as much about someone taking her away anymore but her getting out in the middle of the night! lol I have gates and locks but she's a smart girl. I don't know if she's smart enough to stay inside. Why Parents Shouldn't Feel Bad About Using Disposable Diapers - Blog Entry06 Sep 2008 05:24 PM ugh I can't blame you with twins!!! But honestly I can't blame anyone at all...it is more work but I like it. I feel better not throwing away so many disposables (yes we still use them when we go out...not a fan of carrying around poopy pants!) I hate when people judge others for choices like this. Why Parents Shouldn't Feel Bad About Using Disposable Diapers - Blog Entry06 Sep 2008 09:01 AM I don't see why a cloth diaper wouldn't do the exact same thing? Stay-at-Home-Mom Says Record Game Show Win "Lessens Guilt" - Blog Entry05 Sep 2008 04:14 PM I feel guilty too sometimes...but I think its mostly because of things people say to dh or myself about how if I worked we could afford a house or a second car. I want these things for Katelyn but I can only do so much. I don't want her to be in daycare. I know that if I go get a job I won't have the energy to be a good mommy to her when I get home. It's just how I am. Parents, Kids and Nicknames - Blog Entry01 Sep 2008 04:19 PM My dh's family calls him Smooth because when he was born he came out "smooth" Talk about TMI!!! They all do it too! None of them go by his name so they always get confused when I call him by his name. Mine was Karaboo...not too fond of it. but my family used it as a teasing name. Getting Creative with Almost-Expired Food - Blog Entry30 Aug 2008 05:50 PM are old pickles that bad?.......lol Is Artistic Genius an Excuse? - Blog Entry30 Aug 2008 05:31 PM I must not be talented because I couldn't ever make the excuse that my children or husband have to wait in line because my talent comes first. Even if its what is bringing in the money your family should mean much more to you. Just my opinion though. Because I'm a Perfect Mother . . . - Blog Entry30 Aug 2008 05:10 PM Kate has one of those monkey leashes. She adores her monkey and asks to wear it. People say tons of things when we're out and she's wearing it but its cute on her! We use it at the mall when she refuses to hold our hands or be in the stroller because I can't catch her and she doesn't get it. She's old enough that if she wants to walk she should but so independent she thinks she can go by herself! I don't like the idea of a leash but we don't call it a leash or treat her like she's a dog. When people make rude comments or look rudely at us I usually say "Isn't she just so cute?! Look at how happy she is!" and pretend I didnt hear or see what they felt they needed to share with me. And What About the Prom? Silly answers to the silliest questions about homeschooling. - Blog Entry25 Aug 2008 06:23 PM I finshed high school when I was almost 19 (turned 19 a month later) because my mom had me held back in preschool because they thought I wasn't ready for Kindergarten. I think you should always be allowed to have your child repeat a grade if they're that far behind. |
