It was pretty fun to watch. She doesn't seem to like tight spaces anyway though. She hates being in elevators...It really makes me wonder how she handled being inside me. LOL maybe that's why she was born early! Why Breast Pumping Isn't a Good Substitute for Breastfeeding26 Nov 2007 10:10 AM I brestfed my little girl. She was in the NICU at first so I had to pump and after a month of her being home the doc suggest that between feedings I should pump and give it to her because she wasn't growing fast enough for the doctor. In the end I ran out of milk when she was around 2 months old and I felt like I had failed. I was tired all the time and she still wasn't growing as fast as the doctor would have liked. I had to give her formula and she still didnt grow as the doctor wanted. She started baby food and still grew very slowly. At 12 months when I started her on cows milk and she got her first tooth so more variety in foods she started growing like a weed and now she wont stop Why You Shouldn't Give Cough or Cold Medicine to Your Baby12 Oct 2007 12:33 PM I gave my baby Concentrated Tylenol® Infants' Drops Plus Cold & Cough when she was 11 months old and it did nothing at all for her. After that I threw it away convinced it was useless. I haven't bought another type since then. I don't know why but I just figured that if tylenol wasn't going to work, nothing would. No More Pricks for Jaundice Babies25 Aug 2007 12:17 PM When my daughter was born she was as orange as a pumkin and I didn't even notice! I thought she was completely perfect. I do realize now how orange she was when I look at the pictures. She stayed for 4 days under the lights. When she got to come home they had me lay her in the sunshine for 30 mins for the first 2 days. The Rules of Natural Child Spacing22 Aug 2007 06:26 PM It wasn't me but it makes me feel better that someone elses baby does/did the same thing. So I know my child isn't a weirdo lol I actually had lost my baby around the time she started wanting it again so I suppose she could maybe smell it maybe it's some sort of instinct and I would have given it to her but I had a birth control shot and I wasn't sure if it was ok to let her have it. Thank you for answering so quickly! I love this place! The Rules of Natural Child Spacing21 Aug 2007 06:56 PM Is it weird that my daughter acts like she wants to suck on them again even though I haven't breastfed her since she was 3 months old (my milk just quit coming in and I couldn't get it back) For months it didn't seem to bother her but at 6 months till now she grabs at it and tries to stick it in her mouth and I'm not sure how to react because I don't breastfeed her anymore. September Babies20 Aug 2007 05:45 PM My daughter was born on September 22, 2006. We're getting ready for her first birthday! My Own Theories on Baby Memories20 Aug 2007 05:33 PM I remember standing on my porch and the snow was taller than I was. My mom said I was 6 months old at that time. It's really just a picture in my head though. That's how all my early early memories are. I also remember being in a room with lots of really tall men in black suits with red beards my mom said it was my great grandma's funeral and she was very surprised I remembered any of that because I was only 3 months old. Traveling with Baby25 Jun 2007 08:05 PM When I fly with my baby I give her a bottle when taking off and landing. The sucking helps her ears and she doesn't fuss at all. Plus she falls asleep after filling her little tummy! There is no way I could stay at home all the time! I'd go nuts!! |
