I'm so glad you shared that. Megan, I have written a blog that might interest you called, "Why I Homeschool My Son with Aspergers Syndrome." One Mother's Story.

Yes, Einstein, Edison, Churchill--even Cher and Tom Cruise. Lots of people who later made it big started out a bit on the slow side. They were probably dreaming and imagining and envisioning the future while the other children were filling out worksheets.

Well, I guess we've always got to be open to change. Not long ago I watched the movie "2001:A Space Oddysey" where the astronauts see "mountains" on jupiter and plan to land there. An amazing movie for it's time, but sooo wrong. We've come a long way, baby.

I always wonder about these amicable break-ups because, if they can arrange such a friendly split why can't they just work things out? Thanks again, Michele!

Swim, Laugh, and Thrive With Dolphins! - Blog Entry

Parents don't have to get in the water if they don't want to. I watched some video clips of very young kids experiencing the dolphin encounters and they were assisted by professional life guards/dolphin trainers, while mom or dad watched from the sidelines. I think it depends on the program... you might need to call and specify what your child needs and what you would like to happen. I believe most of them are pretty flexible, and will work with you. If your son does have a dolphin encounter, please share it with us!
