Need odor help

Has the doctor looked up her nose? I once worked at a childcare and this little boy had stuffed pieces of foam up his nose. He eventually started to smell really bad and no one could figure it out.

Should You Request a Teacher for Your Child?

I have heard the argument that requesting your child's teacher will only harm them in high school when they are "stuck" with the teachers they get. I don't agree with this.

Three pages of homework in Kindergarten! Oh my!!! I pulled my DD out after first grade. We keep in touch with a few of the families that were in her class.

Personally, I think it's insane what they have in children's programming now days. Seriously, the language and images they put into kids heads is crazy. I think tv should be used very sparingly.

Places you go

What do we do for fun??? Hummm... Bowling is a huge hit! We go swimming fairly often. We do a lot of hiking and nature walks in the summer/spring/fall.

Relating to friends post kids

lol - it's been a while since I've had friends!! I find it hard to relate well with other moms who have children the same age as mine, considering they usually ten years older than I am.

We scrape by somehow. It isn't always easy, but we make it work. I do think it's better to have to live tight (even if you have plenty of $) while you have kids.
