I've never had any problems mixing it or getting clumps, but I've never mixed it with water. I use an Oster Fusion blender. There is a special blade you can buy for mixing shakes, but I don't use it because I use ice in my shakes.

Try this: 1/2 cup skim milk 1 cup ice 1 scoop Dymatize vanilla 1/2 banana OR 1 tbsp peanut butter 1/2 tsp cinammon blend on high for 1 min(Fusion blender has special shake setting. I love this bleder.)

Best protein shake I've ever had.
