(1967)17 Jun 2007 02:49 PM This is my most favorite of the Hepburn/Tracy movies with a very close second place for Desk Set. Even though I of course do not approve of extra marrital(sp?) affairs, the 30+ yr. affair of these two actors, was amazing to me. You can see the absolute true love they had for each other in all their movies, but it is most prevelant is this movie and very tender to watch. My crazy romantic heart wants them to be together always, after repentance of course. Steel Magnolias (1989)13 Jun 2007 10:51 PM Totally love this movie! I love the relationships between the women, and I always cry, and then laugh in the middle of crying....definately a chick flick! The Work and the Glory III: A House Divided (2007)25 May 2007 05:30 PM when I found out it was only going to be three movies! I didn't hear until I had already seen the third one, and I was all excited about about more to come, only to hear that was it! I felt like I was left hanging and still wanting more. Make Mine Music (1946)03 Mar 2007 06:12 PM My goal was to have the Peter and the Wolf story..it was always one of my favorites in school. I was tickled to see the bonnet story on it as well. I don't know if my girls appreciated it as much as I did. Romantic Movies for Valentine's Day14 Feb 2007 02:20 PM Lets not forget An Affair to Remember....Ever After....My Big Fat Greek Wedding(very funny but still romantic) etc. Charade (1963)14 Feb 2007 02:01 PM Carey Grant, Audrey Hepburn, need I say more?!! There just arent movies of this caliber(sp?) anymore. Sigh..... The Importance of Being Earnest (2002)14 Feb 2007 01:59 PM Absolutely love this movie! I have ordered it, and I can't wait for it to get here! It's a laugh out loud fun time. Author Review - Mary Higgins Clark08 Jan 2007 11:50 AM I just got done reading Two Little Girls in Blue...as usual I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have found that even when I can figure out the bad guy, or guess what will happen next, I still can't put in down,,,,not only to see if I am right, but because I enjoy her books so much. I have read them all, even her young adult novels. I will truly be sad when she retires. The Books of Lilian Jackson Braun01 Nov 2006 10:41 AM Amen to the cat books! I am currently reading the series and I am really enjoying them. Although I am not a cat person, I wouldn't mind having koko and yum yum even with their expensive culinary tastes. The books are an easy read, so I can get through 1 1/2 or even 2 books a day, depending on my schedule. |
