Thanks for letting me know about the ecopods Ellha! It's incredible how much information was out there (and how much I still managed to miss!) about green burials once I started doing research.

Wow George, thanks for taking the time to comment! I hadn't heard about Eternal Reefs - you may have just added a fourth blog to this installment - lol! That sounds really cool and it is amazing how people have changed their ideas about burial in the last 20 years. This is a very interesting subject and I talk more about resomation, which I am sure you have heard of, in the third blog.

Again, thanks so much for the comments!

Federal Ban on Blood Donation Continues - Blog Entry

I didn't mention it in my blog Babyled, but the Blood Centers of the Pacific said that each donation they receive undergoes 13 tests, including that for HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, syphallis, and other STDs and that the error rate for these tests is low.

Still, I think the initial fears increased by the high profile cases of unfortunate victims like Ryan White and Elizabeth and Ariel Glaser continues to scare people.

The Controversy of Medical Marijuana - Blog Entry

That's exactly how I feel Richele. I guess it is just hard to regulate, but I wish they'd work something out. Either make it legal for medical use or not, but this flip-floppy thing is kinda crazy, especially for those that really need it.
