The ending was kind of a downer. But, I didn't have a problem with it, from what I read, it just showed that evil is still gonna exist no matter what Tommy Lee did, so he just decided to give up and let a younger generation fight it. Once I read that, it made sense to me.

Tristi, did you never see Patrick when he was the host of The Monte Carlo Show? I think it only ran a year (1980), but it certainly glitzed up my Sunday pre-cable television late nights. I think that was when I learned he was his father's son :-)

And since I don't like westerns for the most part, my favorite John Wayne movie is what many consider one of his worst - The Green Berets.
