They are hoping for a full reunion - Noah Wyle has already signed on (not that he's been gone that long anyhow!) and I guess they will try for Eric LaSalle and Julianna Margulies. Of course, since Anthony Edwards died in the show, I guess he can't come back - LOL! I don't know that there is a specific link, but smoking just cannot be good for you in so many ways (except maybe when relieving stress while diagnosed with cancer!) I hate to say it, but when my grandfather was dying of lung cancer, his doctors basically gave him the okay to smoke (as if he would have listened to them anyhow!) because they said trying to quit would be too stressful on him. Maybe that is the case with Patrick.
