31 Jul 2006 06:24 PM Poker?I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but I have really gotten interested in poker lately. Well, me and the rest of the world it seems! Every time I turn on the television, it seems there is some game being played on some channel. I have watched it on television so much that now I know most of the names of the better known pros. I know some people don't approve of gambling, but my grandfather was a big gambler and while I enjoy it, I am not convinced that things like that are genetic because I can take it or leave it. In fact, I play poker online for free - I ain't giving real money that I work hard for to someone online - LOL! Growing up, my mom was a big Yatzee player and I guess that is part of what interests me in poker. I have never played a real game in person with anyone, but it is fun to watch and play online. Anyone else like to play online? Libby Linda Hansen (1796) 17 Jan 2007 06:14 PMI am not offended at all, I am an avid poker player, too. I also play on line, freeroll of course. This may offend someone out there, but let me explain. I have taught the boys to play poker, after asking Randy's psychiatrist what she thought, she was in agreement it was a good idea. Poker (without money, as in-no gambling) is a game like any other card game. Poker has intricate strategies, excellent math lessons, visual learning qualities, and body language strategies. We play as a family and have a fantastic time. The boys have learned a lot. Glad you posted this blog, it is good. Love to watch the celebrity poker challenges on TV, and of course Daniel Negareau who's real cute (shhh don't tell hubby!) as well as a gifted and entertaining pro! Katie-Anne asnedeker1 (15) 10 Feb 2008 09:57 AMHello! You wrote this blog a long time ago! I was learning poker online as well. I am interested in finding another person to play online with. Are you playing now? I have the links for free AOL poker. Arlene Discuss this article
