People have such an unenlightened view of suicide. They think it's all about them. It's really about the dispair of the person driven to taking about their own life. When they can understand that, perhaps they will then understand suicide.

Being a teacher, I've watched how children's opinion of themselves have been formed before they even reach school and it affects the way they interact with their peers. Anything we can do to improve our self-esteem as adults is SO important. Great article.
