Starling your post is beautiful. I had been warned against marrying my husband as well. When I looked online all I saw were terrible stories of sadness. Thankfully I realized that happy people are too busy being happy to spend their time posting about how happy they are. The way you describe your relationship with Islam of submission and independence brings tears to my eyes because its exactly how I feel. Thank you.
