Thanks for the comment Serena. My 6-year-old is quite a little shutterbug too. Funny how it comes naturally to some.

Getting Out of Debt: It Begins - Blog Entry

The fact that you don't have to contend with credit card debt or student loans is amazing. I wish you the best, but it seems like you have a really good handle on your financial situation as it is. Keep us posted on how the debt diet goes.

I don't watch Dr. Phil, but caught the last 15 minutes of his show last week. It was about teen siblings: the sister would borrow things from the brother without permission and then break them. I often wonder where it is that Dr. Phil finds the people he has on his show. Most of them have to write-ins.

Birthing Moms Go Glam for Facebook - Blog Entry

CleverKatzz, I would want to know if my husband posted post-birth pics on his page BEFORE he did it. I agree with you, first time moms are typically younger and probably live and die by Facebook, so posting their pics post-birth is likely not a big deal. I'd never do it.

Are You Married to a Bad Dad? - Blog Entry

Sounds like you've got a good thing going. Of course, I think you are in the minority--sadly... at least it seems that way given the number of women I hear griping about their husband's lack of help at home.

Is Preschool a Waste of Money? - Blog Entry

16 Mar 2011 08:49 AM

You are so right Stephanie, and for those kids I think preschool is a saving grace. For our family, not so much. Still, I wouldn't pay $19,000 for a car let alone a babysitter in an upscale part of the city.

Exposing Children to Catastrophes - Blog Entry

I think age plays a huge part in this. Also, I noticed that schools are shying away from talking about certain current events, preferring instead to leave it to parents to conduct discussions. I'm not sure how they handle it with high school students.
