She didn't get her driver's license until she was in her 30s and not soon after my oldest brother got his. My mom doesn't like to drive and only feels comfortable when my dad is driving. Subsequently, my grandma taught me how to drive. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. I'm sure you'll get over your fears in a few years. Though, I know a lady who frowns upon her neighbor's kids running around naked in their front yard during the summer while the sprinklers are on. I don't see why it bothers her.
