You're right Samual, my understanding is that unless it is organic or free range then it cannot be sold at the farmers market. I could be wrong and I don't know how the organizers could police such a thing, but I would assume the vendors would be honest about their products. There are some parents who attend these type of FREE events thinking it will be fun for their kids and could care less how much candy they score b/c they know they have goodies at home. Meanwhile, there are some parents who are just there for the free loot and will stop at nothing to get it and get as much of it as possible.
