LOL Libby I agree... and I heard she's about to drop $1.4 million on a mansion when her other house is being auctioned off b/c she couldn't make payments--the whole thing is SO weird.

I agree lavatea, I wondered what it was that got him off the hook. I have an idea...super star... $$$... etc., but I wonder if they couldn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was actually inhaling versus just posing with it???? Either way, he'd better watch his step in the future!

Living Near Your Parents-Good or Bad? - Blog Entry

Thank you for your comment Gerald! I agree that many children, who didn't want anything to do with their parents as teens, reconsider when they start having their own kids. Do you live near your parents?

1sttimeMomof2 your friend is very lucky to have you!! You must have alot of patience. I've done the same with my 4-year-old and it really is a battle of wills--who's going to break first. Sounds like you won that battle. Also, I agree about Samual's kids :-) Some of the most well-behaved youngsters turn out to be the most unruly teens.

Though, I'm sure you can handle it, right Samual?!

Valorie, I agree with the party/culture observation. In Hawaii everyone knows everyone--you're all part of the same ohana--so we have big bashes out there. In fact, regardless of when we visit, we always celebrate my dd's b-day there... that way all of my family members get to join in on the fun.

LOL Ruthannmy 2-year-old nephew tells my brother to "stop yelling" whenever he raises his voice, even when it's to talk over a noisy appliance or an airplane flying overhead. My brother tells him that he isn't yelling, he's just talking loud. I swear that kid has the most sensitive ears... or maybe he's just very sensitive period.

I like the spa party idea Beckard and you are right, at this age she'll have a great time no matter how many make the cut. Thanks for the comment.

Wow, Samual, you've never had a child run away from you to chase after something that is more appealing than your hand???!! Do share. It's my experience that children are apt to stray from time to time and actually don't listen to their parents 24/7... they are human after all, though I'm sure some parents would like it if their kids acted more like robots than curious youngsters.
