Wow, Samual, you've never had a child run away from you to chase after something that is more appealing than your hand???!! Do share. It's my experience that children are apt to stray from time to time and actually don't listen to their parents 24/7... they are human after all, though I'm sure some parents would like it if their kids acted more like robots than curious youngsters.

Living so close to your parents can be a double-edged sword. I don't believe any parent who claims that he/she will "butt out" of his/her's child's life living so close. The ones who claim to try are typically the ones who have the hardest time doing so.

Dale, my parents are in the same boat as you and your husband. It's tough and very sad at times!!!

And Janet let's not forget the fact that her mom claimed that she would be moving out of the home once the new babies come home. So where does that leave her? I HOPE that she doesn't land a deal with Lifetime or TLC or whatever to have her life documented for TV. Yea, let's encourage other spotlight-hungry people see the benefits of having 1000 kids under one roof... that should make the world a better place.
