I just heard that thrift stores are cutting back on stocking toys this season b/c of the government's crack down on lead and other harmful chemicals found in children's books (the ink) and plastic toys.

This is so true! I'm not surprised at all, especially given that moms are typically the ones that give the sex talk and females are generally poorer in math and science than males.

I'm with your friend, I tend to buy things that are wrinkle-free. The thing about ironing is that you go through all the trouble and you look great walking out the door, but by the time you sit and drive somewhere, you are wrinkled upon arrival. My grandmother was a stickler for ironing and used to admonish my wrinkly apperance. The woman used to iron her bed sheets!!
