My dd liked the skating rink effect. I liked that NBC gave a quick behind-the-scenes look into its green screen graphic productions, though I thought Brian Williams warnings to Ann Curry to duck got a bit tedious after a while.

Oh Annie that's a tough one. My mom lives 5,000 miles away in Hawaii and she only gets to see my dd a couple times a year. My brother and his family live 500 miles away from my parents, but they are need to travel by air to see them. If it's any consolation at least you will be within driving distance of your precious grandson.

We'll see what the mom has to say when/if her son is convicted of the crime. Goodness knows with a mom like this making excuses for his behavior there's no way he's going to confess... and if he did he'd probably find a way to blame the victims for his actions... it was their fault for doing something to provoke him to gun them down.

A 12-year-old boy was shot to death while trick-or-treating in South Carolina, the shooter said he thought the boy was a robber so he unloaded 30 rounds from his assault rifle into his front door and hit the kid and his 9-year-old brother. I wonder what the Illinois mayor has to say about this incident?

I've noticed that there are a TON of LEGO options (kits) for boys and very few for girls, especially with all the new Star Wars Lego stuff out there. When I was growing up they sold LEGO by the color... what a difference a few decades can make.
