I think the pervert label came from Cook's porn habit (along with his affair with a girl that he could have technically fathered). The fact that he used his son's computer and his screen name to rack up tens of thousands of dollars on porn sites and to sit on his son's desk and pleasure himself while being aroused by strangers is pretty sick regardless of whether your spouse is emotionally absent. I totally get where you are coming from Courtney, but the fact is Cook has a mouth. He should have used his mouth to voice his feelings of discontent with his wife (he says he did, she denies it) rather than using it to kiss a girl who was still in high school. IMO.

Alcatraz is a must-visit attraction for anyone who ventures to San Francisco. IMO. I went there for the first time when I was 11 and I was as interested in it then as I am now.

Where does a 15-year-old girl meet a 20-year-old guy anyway? I could see a 14-year-old freshman and an 18-year-old senior hooking up in high school, but how does a "regular" teen girl meet up with a 20-year-old in a setting that would lead to a potential romance?

I wonder what the new warnings will mean for all the preschools, day cares and other classrooms (with kids 5 and under) that house turtles, chicks, hamsters, etc.? I wonder if the pets will get the boot? The Wonder Pets live in a classroom... and Pattie I don't know how you made it all the way to Florida with that incessant tune playing for miles ;-)

I think the major issue in this particular case is that she is underage. It's not like she's 20 and he's 25 or she's 18 and he's 23. If he is "romancing" her in "adult" ways he could be sent to jail for it. I think that is what the brouhaha is about.

Any relationship can work--no matter what the age difference--if both parties are willing to work at it. However, when one of those parties is at risk of breaking the law for engaging in said relationship I think that's when things get hairy.
