Letterman was at it again last night and he got help from Paris Hilton. I don't think Dave would have been as irked if McCain had not showed up at CBS to chat with Couric. Essentially, he lied about bailing and I'm sure that's what peeved Letterman most. After all, those producers deal with last minute cancellations all the time, but most have legit reasons for not showing.

swtuthmommy3, it's interesting b/c a few years ago the CCFC was all over Mattel for marketing a McDonald's Barbie that had a super short mini skirt and tight vest sans shirt, but then I guess they got distracted with Bratz. I'm not sure if they discontinued that Barbie. Thanks for the comment!

Libby, I heard that PEOPLE wanted to put Ricky Martin and his twins on the cover, but "settled" for Clay when Ricky refused to address questions about his sexuality. Frankly, I have more use for Ricky than Clay, though I'm sure the feeling isn't mutual. LOL!
