Oh Sure NOW They're Getting Married - Blog Entry

04 Mar 2009 05:31 AM

What I don't get is the fact that it was just fine being unwed with one baby, but oh no with another one on the way we'd better get married pronto???? I don't understand the logic.

Parental No-No: Breastfeeding While Driving - Blog Entry

04 Mar 2009 05:30 AM

Yes, this mom is definitely headline material, but I still maintain that it's her indignant attitude that puts her children in danger. She's like **rew it, I'm going to feed my baby anytime, anywhere... good luck with that. It's going to be hard to breastfeed when your behind bars and your baby's with relatives/friends or foster care.

What Divorced Dads Can Learn from Russell Simmons - Blog Entry

02 Mar 2009 10:01 AM

Paitence I totally agree with you, my point is that I don't know very many men (celebrity or otherwise) who looooove paying child support. That said, Russell Simmons is rare. He obviously knows his wife (who is his business partner) doesn't need the money, so he gives it willingly. What I find strange is that according to the court documents he can't spend time alone with his daughters. The decree mandates that a nanny and bodyguard be with them at all times. That's strange.

You're mom is very lucky that you appreciate her as much as you do Gerald. She must be very proud of you and I'm sure you feel the same way about her. You are a rare 21-year-old to fully grasp what it takes to be a parent.

Are You Guilty of Hyper-Parenting? - Blog Entry

26 Feb 2009 07:29 AM

I agree Emily, it's a fine line (at least in today's society) between being conscientious and being "hyper." I applaud all the parents out there who shun critics and foster their child in the way that works best for that particular child. A passionate and involved parent knows what is best for his/her child.

You have to wonder if those teachers were beat as kids and thought it was an effective method of discipline. Thanks for the comment Gerald!
