The oldest just turned 17 and got a part time job at a local restaurant. This was a good thing until co-workers got him hooked on cigarettes. Last week I saw him lighting up in the back of the family's van right before Mass. I about died. This kid is as squaeky clean as it gets. I can't believe he got corrupted and I feel for his parents. How often does it happen that when the going gets tough the tough (or not so tough) get going. And it's not just with physical illness; look at how many spouses hit the road when mental illness rears its head. I know more than my share of women whose spouses walked out after they were diagnosed with PPD... and they didn't get pregnant on their own. MTV's "Teen Mom 2" Star Arrested07 Apr 2011 12:36 PM I read that the video was a farce and Janelle and crew were offered $5,000 from a website to instigate the fight and shoot it. The thing is that MTV is paying these Teen Moms mucho money (some quote 5 figures) to star on the shows. I'm not sure if the money is put in a trust or what, but they are not participating in the show for free. In this case, when the going gets tough, the tough get going and try to rob the other of the kids in the process. I always feel uncomfortable when parents admit to not wanting to spend time with their kids, especially when I feel the complete opposite.
