Musings of a Mom

GULP! The day my dd stops hugging me will be a heartstopper for sure. I always tell her that she may not want to hug me so much when she is a teen. Her response: "Don't be silly, Mommy! I'll hug you forever!" After reading your blog, I better whip out the vid cam and record that statement for future use.

What if My Children's Other Parent Won't Take Them to Church on Easter?

03 Apr 2010 09:40 AM

Great blog topic, Jacky! That's a tricky one, though I always thought that if your child was baptised in the Catholic Church, the parent is obligated by nature of the baptismal vows to take the child to church (regardless of civil divorce). I would suggest that any one in this type of situation have it stipulated in the court-approved parental agreement or other type of court-issued custody document what/where/when the child goes to church. Do you have something in stone?

Well, after today you won't have to see the commercial until next Lent. Of course, that's probably how long it will take to get out of your head ;-)

Where Are Max and Ruby's Parents?

Thanks ALLINADAY; my dd is still convinced that Ruby is Max's mommy bc she is "so bossy!" It got hairy when she started asking if the parents were dead.

MUSTBEME, thanks for the great idea! I already carry around band-aids in a mini first aid kit. I'm sure I can spare a few for future trips to the potty.

What it means is if your wife is still breastfeeding she will soon know what constant pain feels like. ;-)
