I Have Five Minutes To Write This....

I have five minutes to write this first journal entry... 4:45... tick... tick that's about how many minutes are left on my toddler daughter's Blue's Clue's tape and when the credits roll and Blue's star ball bounces off the screen it's all over... and I don't just mean the tape. I mean that it's all over for me being on the computer until she goes to bed. She views the computer as her competition, well, that and the washing machine. She can't understand why I would possibly want to tap on some A-B-C keys when I could be having a "picnic" with her and George (Curious George)...some days I wonder myself. TIME'S UP!

Like many working parents I have to be on the computer as well. Looking forward to an article on what to do with the kids while on the home computer.

I am the same way Michele, but with us, it is the Fast Trains and Airplanes DVD. Bless his heart, my two year old loves to watch that DVD over and over and over and...well, you get the idea!
