Haha my son is just like your 2 yr old! He has LOVED his paci since birth and at 16 mo old (even though I swore that when he turned 1 it was going in the trash) he still lights up with excitement when he sees it coming. And I am okay with it. If it makes him feel comforted and secure then what is it hurting at this point? Glad to know I'm not the only proud paci parent out there thanks!

I took an OT survey class in college for my Bible minor and it was one of my all time favorite classes in my 4 yrs of college! The OT is filled with so many important lessons and teaches us so much about God's character and His promises. I know I wouldn't have the same understanding of spiritual things if I hadn't spent time reading and studying it. Thanks for the reminder!

Oh Melissa I am so sorry that you have had to deal with this kind of struggle, but I can see how God has already used this trial in your life to shape and mold who you are and you are a beautiful person. I did this for my son's first year and I am planning on doing one for my daughter when she is born in March! I love going back and looking at it - that first year goes SO fast and is filled with so many great memories. Even though I find it hard to stay caught up completely on it, I do jot down notes to myself once a month with what my child is doing or saying that is new. I also keep my photos in order so when I am ready to work on it I have everything I need to get started. Thanks for the tips!

Wow I hadn't heard that either Art. What a shame. It's amazing that less than a second after that he was facing his eternity and knew the truth a second too late.

I don't think I would watch a publically aired execution of Saddam. I don't think it is something that I need to see. But I can see how the people whose lives he affected would feel the need to see that to obtain a sense of closure. He was certainly an evil man and I believe that his death may bring some sens of justice to those people.
