I am so glad your husband is okay (although he has a lot to do in the months ahead with healing and physical thereapy). What a blessing to have someone like you in his life. And what a blessing for you to have a husband who appreciates you. Thanks for sharing this moment in your marriage. Lemonade Recipes - Blog Entry16 May 2006 08:16 AM If I'm correct, you'd use the same amount of Splenda as you would sugar. With other sweeteners you'd use less, but I think Splenda is the same, cup for cup. I'll give it a try too! I generally don't like the aftertaste of Splenda but I'll take it if it means yummy lemonade without sugar! Make Your Own Bisquick Mix - Blog Entry15 May 2006 09:39 AM Wonderful! I love Bisquick...and I love those garlic cheese biscuits. Thanks for the recipe! Things I Cannot Do Without In the Kitchen - Blog Entry14 May 2006 12:50 PM Libby, your comment about being a chipmunk in winter made me laugh out loud. This is great - I love hearing what people store in their house food-wise. I'm the same way and insist on many of the same items you have. We also usually have kalamata olives, jarred roasted red peppers, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers,(all the makings of a traditional Turkish breakfast which even my kids will eat any time of day!) tortillas, angel hair pasta, lemon, milk, and for me, Crystal Light or Diet Cherry Coke - among other things of course. And I love love love Worcestershire sauce. - Blog Entry14 May 2006 12:43 PM Nicole, great article! I used to subscribe to this service too! Your blog reminds me I need to sign up again. I used to save a HUGE amount of money every week at the store. The only problem I ran into was that I was buying so much convenience food because that's what was on sale. My pocketbook was expanding with the money I was saving, but unfortunately, so was my waistline...hehehehe Still, I would recommend the program - especially if you have a large family, it's amazing what you can save. Happy Mothers Day! - Blog Entry14 May 2006 12:20 PM I am sorry that Mother's Day is painful to you. Hopefully you can show your own children that Mother's Day is simply a day for extra hugs and kisses and that in time you may feel differently.
