I agree--Christmas Eve Blizzard is a beautiful holiday gift idea--it's one of my favorites! Good luck with your Christmas shopping! Other than one gift for my husband, I'm finished. Phew! And that includes the wrapping. That's a first!!!

Wish I Had More Time in the Day

I hear ya, Libby. Gosh I wish I could be one of those people that can do it all consistently. But if I have a good writing day, then my house inevitably looks like we've been robbed because the kids demolish it. If I do all that I want with the kids, the house is still a mess (hehe) and my writing lags. If I clean the house (yick, yuck, ick, ach!) then everything else goes to heck. WHAT IS THE ANSWER???? If you find it, let me know because most of the time I think I'm running around like a headless chicken. :-) And giving up sleeping? Definitely a no. Sure wish I could give up eating though--my waist would love that! hehehehehehehehe

Way to go, Libby. I'd love to know if any of the companies you work for are hiring more home workers? I'm looking for more freelancing opps. I've done quite a bit of magazine and newspaper work. I was a substitute teacher for awhile for grades K-6, and I've worked for an educational company writing grade-leveled activity books. It's so hard to find contacts! I search Craig's List every day and a few other sites, but the good offers are few and far between!

Sounds like you're a GREAT mom. Your kids will know how lucky they are later in life when they're successful and well-rounded. Way to go, mommy! I agree with you wholeheartedly about wanting my kids to read. I was an avid reader growing up. Reading helped me realize I could do anything, including going to college when my family couldn't afford it and didn't know how to make it work. So keep on with what you're doing--sure wish more parents would. :-)
