BioCathy Ipcizade is 30 years old and currently resides in Southern California. Prior to coming to California she grew up in Arizona. She and her husband met in California when Cathy came to visit her twin sister. Her husband Yekta is from Turkey and was in California obtaining his MBA. Needless to say, three years later they married...and he stayed. They have two children, a boy named Bailey who is six and a daughter, Sophia, who is three. Bailey started Kindergarten in the fall and the separation anxiety is already setting in. :-) Sophia is exploring the world around her and each day proving to be much more daring and busy than the previous day. They are the lights of Cathy's life. Cathy has written more than 350 articles in magazines, newspapers, and online, and has co-authored a series of activity books for children in grades Pre-K through 5 through a work-for-hire assignment. In addition to article writing, Cathy writes for children. Her first picture book was just accepted for publication, and she's currently writing a series of books for the educational market on African Animals. All four books are coming out in 2008. In her spare time, which isn't much with two busy bees running around all day, Cathy enjoys pursuing photography and reading. |
