It is important to calculate your savings versus the time it takes for some frugal activities. If, for example, it takes me 30 minutes to cut coupons and look up sales. That seems like a lot, however; my last shopping trip saved me $92 off of our grocery bill (which totaled $74 for a full shopping cart), so I essentially made $104 an hour--not bad.
