Thank you so much for your hair knowledge! I never knew that mineral oil won't absorb into hair. The baby oil always seemed to work well for me, but maybe it depends on hair type? I would love to hear more.

I wound up getting an extra gourmet pot pie out of the bargain, although I had to stretch it a bit with using a single cup of cooked chicken!

Thanks for the ideas mariemom! What do you usually pair with soup? I like homemade bread and a big salad.

The numbers might be off a little bit, since chicken breasts tend to have less meat on them and be more expensive than turkey. Look for a future comparison on chicken.

The extra benefit of a whole chicken is the ability to make chicken stock from the bones.
