Such good points. We all need to be reminded that helping others needs to be done throughout the whole year. If we need holidays to remind us to help then maybe we could incorporate other calendar holidays and events. For example, with back to school shopping, we could always pick up extra supplies for others, for Valentine's Day, we could put together a "love box" of needed supplies.

Does your shelter keep a running list of items most needed?

GNENERGIZE, that is very interesting information. As I alluded a bit to in the post, I think we are "afraid" of this energy because of the possibility of a catastrophic accident, as well as not knowing what to do with dangerous nuclear waste.
