Without commercial preservatives, your food won't last as long as store bought. I would give applesauce anywhere from 3-5 days. You'll notcie mold start to grow. It might last longer if it is kept in the back of the fridge. Also, avoiding eating from the jar or placing a spoon that has been in someone's mouth will lengthen the time before it spoils. It only seems as though they last longer because since you are using and washing them less per set, they last longer. The biggest thing that shortens the life of sheets is the dryer.
