Ah, now that is a great idea. It would probably work for everyone in our family with the exception of our daughter, who likes to coordinate her socks. But perhaps hers could be kept separate. Brilliant.

Seashelled. I am so sorry that you are having to go through such a difficult time. I can "hear" the pain and confusion that it is causing in your life. No one ever expects divorce when they marry the love of their life.

There is something to be said about having your eyes open and being practical. After all, marriages involve humans, and humans are fallible. Marriages take work, but that doesn't diminish the solemnity and sacredness. I'll have to continue to respectfully disagree to see it otherwise.

Wonderful ideas, Michele. We usually do the gift card thing, but this year my son wanted to give gifts that were a bit more personal.

The gifts do tend to add up, don't they? I only have one in school, but there is the classroom teacher, the gifted ed teacher, the violin teacher (and a separate music teacher), the art teacher, and the bus driver to consider. Whew. Think they will all want Silly Bandz? Ha ha.
